Scuba Certification for Families & Kids

We're dedicated to making diving a family affair! Children 10 years and older can earn their PADI Junior Open Water certification. We love certifying kids and teens. Many parents choose a private charter experience for their kid’s certification–and they get to enjoy being on and in the water too!. Our private charters offer a safe and personalized environment for young divers.

Details for Youth Scuba Certification:

Ages 10-11: Maximum 4:1 student-to-instructor ratio in confined and open water, with no more than two children aged 10-11 per group. Maximum depth: 40 feet.
Ages 12-14: Maximum depth: 60 feet.
Junior Open Water Divers automatically become full Open Water Divers at age 15.

Can my family also scuba or snorkel during the training dives?

While some complete their PADI Open Water certification, others can snorkel or join as certified divers. We always provide an additional crew member to cater to everyone's interests.
